History of Nobel Prize
The Nobel Prize was not started, if a French Newspaper can’t publish the news, of the death of Alfred Nobel in a critical way. It happened that Alfred Nobel invent a bomb (Dynamite) in 1866, it was the most powerful bomb of that time.
In the experiment of that bomb in 1888, his brother Ludvig Nobel died, but the Journalists think that, Alfred Nobel also died in that experiment, and the Newspaper publish that:
“Trader of Death is Dead”
Alfred Nobel hurts by this wrong news, though he thinks, this how people gonna recognize me?
So after 7 years of this news, he wrote an advice of four pages whose summary is this:
“After my death the maximum profit of my Business is dedicated to Medical, Researchers, Writers and Peace Makers.”
Alfred Nobel died in 10 December, 1896 in Italy but according to his advice, exactly after 5 years from his death, the Nobel Prize given in 1901. From 1901 till now the Nobel Prize continuously given to the people, who work extraordinary, except from two World Wars.

John B.Goodenough is the oldest American Nobel Prize Winner. He was 97-years-old when he won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. He won the Nobel Prize for his contribution to the development of lithium-ion batteries.

Once a Russian Businessman Alisher Usmanov (was also a founding investor of Facebook) buys the Nobel Prize from James Watson’s on 4 December 2014 in a Vendue of $4.8 Million. After that he returns the Nobel Prize and, can’t demanded his money so that it will further spend in research. Usmanov said:
“James Watson’s research is on cancer, and my dad was died of cancer, it’s a great cause to work on to save humanity from this adverse disease.”
Error of Nobel Prize
The error of Nobel Prize is that with an upgradation in technology, no change has been brought to Nobel Prize categories, even this time engineering, mathematics and art perform many achievements.
Nobel Prize board also highlights that in future no change, will be brought to Nobel Prize categories, so this is not a good decision.
